Tommy Horton was once a member of the famous Louisiana Hayride out of Shreveport, Louisiana (as was his famous father, Johnny Horton). Tommy toured extensively with Grand Ole Opry stars Norma Jean, Claude Gray, Tony Douglas, Jimmy C. Newman and many others. Debbie Horton has performed as a guest lead guitarist for Johnny Cash (the only woman to have that distinction). Debbie Horton has also toured with the beloved country comedian Jerry Clower and with the southern gospel quartet The Florida Boys. In 2000 the Hortons headlined their own show at the BoxCar Willie Theater replacing the time slot held by the now retired Ferlin Husky. The Hortons continue to perform in Branson and play concerts and fairs throughout the United States and abroad.

They have appeared on The Nashville Network and make regular guest appearances on the world famous Ernest Tubb Midnite Jamboree in Nashville, Tennessee. In 2003 the State of Texas honored The Hortons with a State Resolution stating in part, "...Whereas, The Hortons Show pays a great honor to the ground-breaking, foot-tapping music of Johnny Horton; Tommy and Debbie Horton, along with their fellow band members, deserve hearty applause for their efforts in bringing these great songs to so many people; now, therefore be it resolved, that Tommy and Debbie Horton be commended for keeping alive the music of Johnny Horton through their wonderful program, The Hortons Show." - Chuck Hopson, Texas State Representative, District 11. This is a feel good, fun show for the entire family and one you must see! For more information visit the official Horton Show Web site.
